It may have been a rainy day in Shelby, but everyone left with a smile on their face at the end of the day. Great fellowship, food and fun were had by all. A 100 Year Picnic was held for associates, retirees and other alumni on the campus September 23rd. in his opening remarks, Reid Lederer pointed out that out of the 60 million US companies created since 1926, only 1,000 (or .05%) of those remain standing. Carton Service is proud of the company we keep with a few other Ohio 100 year companies like The JM Smucker Company and Sherwin Williams. Scott Garverick gave a speech on Bob Lederer’s legacy and shared the words that our own team used to describe him which included “loveable, classy, positive” and more. At the end of the picnic, prizes were distributed to all. We cannot thank our associates enough for ALL they DO, but on this one day in particular, we CELEBRATE YOU. It was pointed out that in our 100 years, we’ve had over 110 associates who have spent over 25 years of their working lives with us. We honor that work, we honor our teammates, we honor your skill and dedication.
